Colourful Staircase

This vibrant art installation was created during my internship with freelance artist Thomas Granseuer and is displayed in the entrance to Vagant Menswear in Hanover.

The piece features layered, translucent fabric sheets arranged in a gradient of colors, transitioning from deep greens and purples to bright reds and blues. The installation interacts dynamically with light, as it can also illuminate in various colors, enhancing the sense of movement and fluidity. This work highlights the interplay of texture, color, and light, creating an immersive visual experience for visitors.

I had the privilege of supporting Thomas throughout the entire project, contributing to every phase from initial planning and visualization on the computer to the final execution. My role involved meticulous tasks such as cutting fabric panels, painting all 120 fabric sections, and, ultimately, hands-on work on site, including painting walls and countless hours standing on a ladder.

This experience was not only physically demanding but also incredibly exhilarating and creatively inspiring. Working closely with Thomas provided a unique opportunity to blend technical skills with artistic vision, resulting in a project that was both challenging and deeply rewarding. The collaborative effort and the creative journey were truly unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression.
