Imploded Cube Alive
This installation brings Ewerdt Hilgemann’s Imploded Cube, currently displayed in front of the Kunsthalle Bremen, to life. The cube breathes, speaks, and reacts. By interacting with the cube through varying sound levels—whether loud or soft—the user can engage with the artwork and uncover more about its meaning and creation.
Unfortunately, due to the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project has so far only been visualized as a prototype. However, it remains a compelling concept that explores the dynamic relationship between art, sound, and interaction.
Interactive Soundposter | 2021
The cube was modeled and animated using Cinema 4D, bringing its unique structure and behavior to the digital realm. The voice that brings the cube to life was recorded in collaboration with a fellow student, adding an additional layer of personality to the experience. I wrote the final code in Processing, which enables the interactive elements of the poster and allows users to engage directly with the cube.
